You hear from the Chicago Police that homicides are down. You do not hear if there are less shootings or more people are surviving the gun shots. Also if you have ever seen The Wire you would tend to be skeptical about crime statistics.

23 Year Old Woman Shot and Killed

She may not have even been the intended victim.
Update - 17 year old charged with her murder. Do these kids honestly think they are going to get away with this or do they know they will be going to jail for the rest of their lives.

3 Shot In Attempted Robbery

I am noticing that many of the shootings started as a robbery.

17 Year Old Shot In the Head

Out at 1:00 am when a man walked up to him - got into an argument- shot him in the head. Why? What ever happened to getting into fights to solve problems? When did it become a norm to use guns instead?

UPS Driver Shot Today

As he tried to run away a UPS driver was shot in the back.
Update - 2 suspects arrested and charged with first degree attempted murder. Both in their teens.

9 People Shot Within 4 hours In One Neighborhood

12 people in total were shot in Chicago last night. One was a pizza delivery man.
